Telescopic construction is a deliberate choice, not a convenience: the blank is drawn as one continuous curve and then resolved into sections, so collapsing small never costs you the action.
The V-73 platform is being engineered to support additional power configurations in future. First in development: the V-73 L.

The first rod being developed on the V-73 telescopic platform from Ventra Fishing. Light power, collapsing to a target of 40–43 cm, with freshwater and saltwater intent — engineered to fish like a rod you would choose, not one you settle for.
